Hey guys my name is Natalie, and I didn’t like middle school, so I’m glad to be part of the graduating class of 2021. Now a little about me. I’m not a very outgoing person, so if you don’t know me I’m ok with that. I may seem shy or quiet at times, but if you say hi I’ll say hi back. Lastly, one thing you should know about me is that I’m a coffee lover.
Natalie's Goals For Freshman Year
For academic goals I basically want to improve on a lot of different subjects. Let’s start off with Spanish. I want to become as fluent as possible in the language. So raise your hand if you don’t like math. Well I actually enjoy math unlike you, so I want to grow more in math than I already am. I also want to become better at writing. Lastly, I want to learn as much as I can in biology this year, so I can do the biology track here at Foothill. So, I don't have a huge family to talk about, but I mean I have three siblings, my parents, and my dog. My two brothers are a lot older than me. They are 23 and 26. My sister however is 11. I want to spend more time with my brothers because they live in different areas and I rarely see them. For my sister I want to stop arguing with her, but let’s be honest it’s going to happen still. Lastly, for my parents I want to spend more quality time with them since I have a busy schedule.
Let’s start off by saying this, I don’t have many friends. I’m not a very social person as I said earlier on, but for the friends that I do have I have some goals for them. I want to first build a stronger bond with my friends, and by doing that I want to make more time to hang out. Lastly, I want to always be there for them when they need me to be.
For fitness and sports I actually do a sport. My sport is competitive cheer. Now I know what you are thinking, “Do you do cheers with pom poms and chant for a team?” and my answer to that is no. It’s basically the opposite of that. It’s a very hardworking sport where we do a lot and I mean A LOT of hard conditioning, stunting, and tumbling. We basically make a 2 minute and 30 second routine to compete with and then we go all over the United States to compete at these big competitions. So now that I explained a little about it, my goals are to stay fit. I also want to stay a great teammate for the ones that need it. Finally, I want to learn new skills and that could mean higher level stunts and/or even tumbling.
So even though I’m not a “school” type of person I still have many goals, but not just in school but also out of school.
